I had a problem with the compact scopes not fitting on a long action properly. I couldn’t get the objective low enough without hitting the scope rail and still being able to get good cheek weld. All my compact scopes sit on short actions, just make sure you can get it mounted to where you like it.
The biggest problem is if the brass was fired in an out of spec chamber or a wheeler chamber and you trying to bring it back to a saami chamber. You won’t be able to tell how close you are to resizing properly without a headspace gauge. You could be a mile away from a proper shoulder bump
Did you measure the brass with a headspace gauge? Also was all the brass fired in your rifle? Might need to shave the shell holder, the dent is probably from excess lube.
No but I am sure it will do fine. N570 gave me almost 3150 fps with a 180. But that was over pressure, backed it down to about 3050 and found a great spot. The biggest thing with the 7prc is brass, it’s either ADG or Peterson or don’t bother.
N570 is probably the one you are referring too the most. N570 provides a significant gain in speed over many other magnum powders. But there is always a downfall to speed. It is very hard on barrels, just the way it is.
