Here's another Varmint rifle that's caught my interest 6.5 Creedmoor B.A.T.-Shilen, Jewell and stock by Richard Franklin before he quit making them. The rifle was put together by Tommy Shurley. It likes 140 Gr varmint bullets

My latest varmint rifle is different. I picked up an Anschutz 1727f. It really likes the CCI TNT 17 HMR loads I shot at 50 yards. If I had the chance I'd try this action on a few more calibers I'm looking forward to them bringing out some more calibers in this model.

Don't you just love the 6.5 Creedmoor. A cartridge designed from day one for anyone to load and shoot like a dream and that looks like a great rifle. Nice 200 yard group...Someone is going to get a great rifle.

I'm also looking for info on the Savage long range in 6.5 Creedmoor. I hear it shoots up a storm. I have a DPMS in 6.5 Creedmoor and with the factory 140 grain A-Max loads it shoots .6" 5 shot groups at 200 yards.
