    .270 Win 110 gr Accubond

Coop....... thanks. A long time and VERY happy user of the 7mm 120 gr BT on Deer - I was wondering about this 110 gr bullet in my .270 for the SAME use?? The above 120 gr is a GREAT hunting bullet and I definitely don't want to be using this 110 gr if it's not up to the task. We know it's...

    .270 Win 110 gr Accubond

Folks...just asking, not in any way advocating its use or non-use. Nosler manual lists the 110 Accubond avaliable for the .270 Winchester. Anybody know if this bullet was specifically designed for 270 Win velocities - or the lower velocities of the 6.8? Thanks.

Seek & you shall not find??

I completely understand the want for privacy in the areas you personally hunt. And why I have made multiple contacts with advertised Guide services about a coyote hunt. Replies? None. Nada??? Sierra Varmint 70gr vs 80gr

If the scope would get here... Anyway...I have both loaded. Hard to argue with the extra speed the 70 gr brings (3,500 fps +/-) and especially with my 20" barrel. Maybe lose approx 100 fps which I have NO problem with. And, in the end, group size will get the nod. I'm cheering for the 70 gr...

    Sierra Varmint 70gr vs 80gr

Gents...thank you for the responses. MUCH appreciated. dwinmeade...your second paragraph...that's what I've always done with my "big" game rifles before a planned and costly hunt. A very important and thoroughly enjoyable component of the whole trip experience. When the time came - all those...

    Sierra Varmint 70gr vs 80gr

Just joined the forum and glad to be here. I'm older and VERY long on rifle / reloading / hunting experience. New to coyote hunting. Am setting up my .243 - waiting on my scope. I have 3 Sierra bulltets: 70 gr & 80 gr Varmint, and the 85gr dual purpose. 3 times a day I change my mind between...

    243 Winchester bullet choice

Blackbrush1 and Pete are correct. Any one of the 3 Partitions are THE (Deer) bullets to depend on, not just when things go right, but when shot placement isn't perfect. I'm a LONG time fan of Nathan Foster whose extensive FIELD research strongly favors the Partitions for deer with your .243...
