    Which scope for night hunting

    You will be good to go with a light mounted atop your scope. You might not even need a light on a full moon and clear night at short range . Also get a good LED spot light so you don't have to be looking through your scope all the time.

    Well I've had a good couple of weeks . Last week I shot a yote at 352 yards. Yesterday one at 166 yards and today one at 345.All while at work on the ranch working cattle. Don't get much better .

    Woods That maybe more my speed. Will I have to change the bolt face also? Will you be getting a fast twist for the heavier bullets? What kind of performance are you looking for the 243 AI ? I like the 6.5 Sherman but it maybe too much gun for where I hunt might send to the next county lol.

    .270 Win 110 grain loads?

    I generally shoot a 223 for coyotes, But tried a 270 with 150 gr. Core-loks on paper this week. It had too much recoil for me . Would the 110 or 90 Grainers be better ? I was shooting a savage 110 sporter.the barrel would burn my hand after 4 shoots . Does anyone have any suggestions ?
