    The gun shoots great, but I believe this is what is causing the groups to be always on a horizontal plane. This is the only gun I've built that have had this issue. Sure, it may not shoot any better than it is right now, but sure would be nice to know...and when you have two buddies that...

    The gun shoots 3/8"groups all day long. the groups are always a horizontal line. the groups are pretty consistent from the middle then left of center.

    And I do believe that it is affecting accuracy. IMO, there's got to be a mechanical reason for it.

    I believe the POI is moving because the gun is moving, not that the actual scope is moving on the gun. Its an ATACR 7-35 with Nightforce rings on a 6 Dasher and weighs 17#, low recoil. I have another rifle (virtually identical) that the bolt does not jump and the crosshairs stay on the target...

    Can anyone help me out here? Getting used to the trigger on my gun. Its a Rem 700 thats been blueprinted, PTG bolt installed and lugs lapped, with a Proof steel barrel. Trigger Tech trigger set at 1# 3oz. Bolt bounces every time I dry fire it and scope POI shifts left 1/4" every time at 100...

    Leupold Mark 5HD 5x25 or Nightforce NX8 4-32?

    I'm building a 6 Dasher competition rifle for a client and he is on the fence on which one of these scopes he should put on his rifle. We've had a couple of top ranked PRS guys tell us that the NF isnt clear around the edges at longer distance. Just looking for input here. Thanks
