    Who's Made Their Own Stock?

Here's the last one I made. I rough inletted on a Bridgeport, finished with small chisels, files, and rasp. Shaped the outside with a 3" air grinder, air barrel Sanders, and a da

    sendero help

Definitely not very impressed to say the least. He did a heck of a job on the brake, but dropped the ball on the bolt. If he had did a function test, the problem would have been obvious.

    sendero help

Shannon has done a couple rifles for me already, they shoot great. I just left him a message an hour or so ago. Mud, the bolt has been headspaced. They just didn't relieve the bolt counter bore for the m16 extractor.

    sendero help

Right on Fear. It appears that the smith didn't open up the bolt nose counter bore in the barrel. I can take the bolt out, stick a round under the extractor, and put it in and chamber without any resistance at all. Mr. Dixon said the work would take about 2 weeks. It took almost 4 months, and...

    sendero help

Hey guys, I need a little help. I know this isn't the right section, but I figured it would get more views here. I have a sendero in .300wm with a new ptg bolt, and m16 extractor that won't close on a factory round, loaded round that used to chamber with the old bolt, or a full length sized...

    Question on tumbling

I had the same problem with the red walnut media. I started using treated corn cob media, no more red dust on my cases. I still wipe them off though. It seems to clean just as well.

Not a RIfle Question but a Trivia Question

No offense, but I would quit worrying about all your friends e-mails. Focus on your own loading, and shooting. If you like to prove people wrong, do it with your own experience. Kind of sounds childish. You know, going back and forth with people all the time...

    Best sizing lube ever?

I stopped using the rcbs stuff because it was rusting the inside of my dies. I use ballistol now, and my dies are rust free.

Seating primers with a press or by hand

I seat primers with the rcbs hand primer. It's stupid fast, and you get a better feel versus the press. If you have been seating with a press, and haven't tried a hand primer you are really missing out. Imo.
