Yes standard magnum boltface but slightly smaller at the base than the wsm or saum at .546 if I recall right

Brass is lasting well so no concerns there just don’t push to much pressure as per normal, I had a 7lrm before this and that had bad brass... barrel life I haven’t burnt one out yet but I would expect rem mag or similar and between 67-69 of Rl26 and yes start with a Tikka 7mm rem mag as a base

I’m using it and have built three full customs on Lone Peak actions and two tikkas, 24”-26” Bartlein’s and 2970-3050 FPS with 180’s and RL26 mine is a custom reamer setup for the 180’s

Interested to know when the 28 and 30 Nosler brass will be available

@highdrum is bang on in regards to The lrm, myself and two friends built three of them a few years ago and I pushed mine to 3050 and wrecked brass trying to get the performance I was after, mine got re barreled but the other two run 180’s at 2950 FPS now and the blaser is at 3050, if it were me...

I have had the 7 LRM and the brass is disappointing, I also have the 7 saum and 7 blaser mag, I have built a few 7 Blaser mags from 24”-26” and they run from 2970 FPS to 3050 with 180’s using RL26

I have run a few 7 saums with barrel lengths between 20-22” and all suppressed they have run from 2900-3000 FPS with 168’s or 162’s with H1000 and also RL17/19 awesome all round combination

I have the lone Peak Razor ti’s all built as lightweight hunting rifles and can vouch for them being smoother than friends that run the pierces, I think it also has something to do with the pierce not running a guide/bind rail (not 100% if that’s the correct terminology) if I remember correctly...

Hey all I’m based in New Zealand and the 24” one I started with last week it’s at about 25 rounds down it and velocity is looking like 2970 FPS or there abouts with 180 ELD M’s

I have a 24” one being finished up by my smith this week hopefully will get to some load development next week and I’ll report back

I speccd the reamer with my smith to be able to run both the Berger and Hornady 180’s as some barrels can be picky as to what they like so as to not rely on one projectile, I will also be trying it with the 162 ELD x and 168 Bergers also. I am using Redding dies at the moment, and if you shoot...

I have done two 7mm blaser mags with a custom reamer setup to suit 180’s both 26” barrels and they are running 180 eld m at 3050 FPS with RL26 69 gn, I’m just finishing up a 24” one now so should be loading for it in the next week or two

I have also been looking at doing this on a lone peak razor ti action as I have previously used this box below for a 7saum (had to cut windows in etc) but will use this box for the .284 as it gives 3.110 internal length...
