I seated the bergers deeper and dropped a grain of powderand got a 11\16 group. Now im getting somewhere.

Thanks. Just read that the bergers are real finicky on seating debth. I may give that a try.

Ok i shot 3 groups with 7828. Best was 11/8 group. My normal groups with 120 ballistic tips are 3\8 inch. Would it b worth trying H1000? I have a feeling my gen likes the lighter bullets. 130 matchkings also shot great.

I shot a coyote at 100yds with a 130gr matchking and what a hole. Were talking cantelope sized hole. The interesting thing is I shot one at the same distance with a 120gr nos bt and it only had a quarter sized hole. Im shooting 7828 powder and the velocitys are 3450 with 130gr bullet and 3550...

My stw likes the 130 mk.

Im using the 130 mk in my stw for the first time this year. Very accurate with the 7828. Also read of a few people that liked the barnes 120gr in the stw. My farthest shot would be 400 yrds.

What would be a good hunting bullet for the 7mm stw in 120 0r 130gr for deer. Thanks
