A lot of the deer migrate down from colorado to new mexico they are migratory deer. The deer come to New Mexico during hunting season. Ya some stay but they are not there during the most important time of year hunting season. These are the deer in the southern part of the state

New Mexico is just as good and you don't have to preference points just to get a good hunt.

Ive been going after this buck for years. I had a shot but my friend slammed the door and spooked him. He's a heck of a buck. This is were the buck was spotted in northwest New Mexico.
