I am looking for an action only. A Remington 700 Long Action so I can build a custom .25-06 Remington. Does anyone know where I can find one?

I have been getting good groups out of my Stevens 200 using the 110gr Accubond and 57grains of Retumbo. I don't know what my velocity is, I wish I did. I haven't tried playing with the C.O.L yet either. But .679" at 100 yards out of a $299 rifle isn't too bad.

If I keep my Stevens I will definately get the trigger from Sharp Shooters Supply. If I can find a good aftermarket stock for it also, I will definately keep it. The main reason I have thought about the Remington is that I have always liked Remingtons and you can get stuff for them everywhere.

Has anyone used it on a fairly new factory barrel? I have only shot 40-50 rounds through my barrel so far but was thinking about using FF. Should I not spend the money yet?
