I emailed them recently inquiring when they were going to do a run of either 280 AI, or 270 win, all they said was that they are doing their best to keep up with demand, no ETA was ever mentioned.
I would go steel all the way, I have spent hundreds on aluminum bases that will work great until they don’t, and it’s always in the worst spot. After having several failures in not so nice spots I go steel for everything.
I have a savage GRS in 6mm Creedmoor, and I have noticed that after I clean the barrel I will have pressure signs, but after 5 or so shot all signs of pressure signs will disappear. All I can figure is that the tool marks increase pressure until a copper smooths the barrel out.
