I recently drew a big horn sheep tag in my home state of South Dakota. As you can imagine, I feel like the luckiest guy on the planet. I was just wondering what other difficult tags members on the forum have drawn? It took me 14 years to pull this tag. What say you?

I pretty much use all reloader 22 powder for my 300 win mags. That powder has been hard to find. Some say it's not very temp stable, but I hunt mostly when it is cool in the fall and have not ever had any issues....from the dakota plains to the brooks range. Pretty much what I like in my 7 mags...

I snagged one of the ruger 77/17 wsm's when they first came out.....now they tend to be pretty expensive since ruger stopped making them. I really like mine. I did shim the bolt and tweaked the trigger to make it even better. What you can't take from the round is the fact that you have a rimfire...

I have and use a Neoair......works great and don't take up hardly any room......I slept like a baby in the Colorado rockies and the Alaskan brooks range.....don't leave home without it!

I love my sig P220. Hunter version has adjustable rear sight. Probably not the route to go if you are adding optics. My Kimber 1911 target II in 10mm is also very accurate.....so many good choices these days.....have you considered a revolver in 10mm? Good luck!
