I'm planning on getting a BL 22 lever action,I want to keep it open sight but might put a red dot scope or a tactical sight. Iv never really used one whats a good make and model? Looking at spending around $500 or less I just plan on having this as a play around gun.

I'm always making my own shooting targets but lately I've been wanting to make a moving target and most of the ideas don't really work ( the target only moves temporarily ) or I have to have another person with me. So if someone has made a moving target or has some ideas I would like to hear...

What are the benefits of a twisted bolt? Is it mainly for appearance because they do look bad ***. Iv shot a fair few rifles but never shot a gun with a twisted bolt.
