Why is there so much difference in everyones research on this matchup? I am on the fence leaning both ways.

Being left handed I am going with the Tikka stainless. Which carries a 24.4 inch barrel in both calibers.

Trying to decide which caliber. ELK AND DEER HUNTING Mostly Balistics are comparable for the most part from what I understand. Is there any problems with reloading.

Answer is easy for me... Metolius unit near Bend OR. w/ muzzleloader. Not that I really want to get in the habbit of making it harder for myself to hunt in the premium areas. Basically Oregon is terrible for deer hunting. Oregon has been mismanaged for years
