Here’s one that has the 153 as well which they also seated to 2.950 and I know for a fact that in a SAAMI spec chamber the a tip can be seated much longer so I’m guessing it’s just for extra magazine clearance. https://www.hornady.com/assets/site/hornady/files/load-data/6.5-prc-v4.pdf

Hornady load data says they seated the 143 ELDX to 2.950 so you should be good there. https://press.hornady.com/assets/site/hornady/files/load-data/6.5-prc-v2.pdf

if you are limited to 2.955 by magazine or action length then that is a good place to start (edit: with most bullets. Search for load data for your specific bullet.) . If you aren’t, there are other ways to find where the bullet touches the lands such as using a fired case and denting the neck...
