That's a pretty hot load for the RUM!!

I settled on the 246 HH in my 338 edge...could not get the 260 up to 3000 fps in my 25 inch barrel with H1000. Tried the 246 and got 3100 fps. with the same powder. Hoping you will be making a comparable HHT to the 246 HH.

If your looking to shoot 500 to 800 yards with a .375 you should consider the 375 RUM with a wyatts box. Very efficient round that gets little love. My son has one that shoots the 329 gr. Hammer Hunter over 2800 fps. With a Terminator brake, the recoil is not that bad.

Yea, I live in Oregon as well. Been there, done that...several times. Moved on to March scopes and haven't had a problem since.
