I have a 700 long range in 300rum. I put a timney trigger in mine, bedded the action and added a jp enterprises standard brake. My rifle pushes 210 vlds at 3100 fps and will shoot dime size groups all day long. Very pleased with mine .it is heavier than a sendero though. Recoil is very managable...

Do you garuntee that the brass is once fired? Or are some possibly hirer round count? Interested in the barnes

I shot the 225 out of my rum using Norma brass fed 215gm primers and retumbo. 26 inch tube. At 87 gr which is 2 grains less than Hornady manual shows max load I got pressure and velocity was only about 2850. I gave up on these and shoot the 210 Berger's at 3100 with no issues.

I haven't tried them in my 260 but I shoot the Barnes 127 lrx out of my creedmoor with great results. I've found better accuracy with the 140s out of my 8 twist barrel though. Seems like most 6.5 barrels are being built with 8 twist. I wouldn't worry so much about trying to get to 3000 fps. All...

I built my 260 off a Savage short action with a 26 in shilen barrel. With 142 matchkings I'm getting 2890 fps. These loads also fit in magpull ai mag and are loaded against the lands. I also loaded 140 eld m bullet for this setup that are coming out at 2810 fps. Neither load has showed pressure...

I used candle wax to cast the chamber. Pours easily and once it cools it pops out easily.

I did the cast after using my oal gauge to try and measure throat length and getting a measurement of over 4 inches.
