Tips for Meat Care on a flat land (no trees) multi-day hunt

Just wanted to thank everyone who chimed in. Attached is a photo of our hunt. We got Lifetime 75qt coolers and it retained ice for more than a week. I am a big fan now. We used block ice and cubed ice combo. We did vacuum seal meat once at camp.

So many tips! I appreciate all of it. We were going to vacuum seal meat after we came to hotel. Ideally how much time should it take for quartered antelope to cool down?

Tips for Meat Care on a flat land (no trees) multi-day hunt

No off-road vehicle. But walk is not bad. Chest freezer idea was brought up during our discussion. Not sure how will we power it. We are renting a pickup. Few more idea were Dry Ice, Frozen Salt water bottles and, of course a lot of ice bags. We are not camping.

.270 Tikka T3 Lite Widened group at 100yds

I did discover a small wiggle at the scope base. Screws were loose. Tightened them and mounted scope. Will test at the range next week and keep you all posted. Hope that was it. Thank you so much for your valuable input and suggestions

.270 Tikka T3 Lite Widened group at 100yds

This is a good start. I will check all the screws. I have another scope I can try. More people I talk to and more I read, I am thinking Scope is an issue. It did slip couple of time from a shooting stick in the field but I did not think much of it at the time. Nothing is rattling though

I didnt think of this yet but the difference in temps when it was tight vs wide is probably 10F cooler when wider

.270 Tikka T3 Lite Widened group at 100yds

I had to check my grouping when I missed the shot at deer at 125yd. Just to make sure I went back to the range and took a group of 3, all were 6" apart within each other. After chasing zero for a while, I thought I need to re-zero, hence the 25yds shots
