IMO, the more important question for the hunter/shooter is "Where does your long range capability end?" For hunting game at long range...

IMO anything that pushes oneself is " Long Range" Per this site ELR starts at a K so anything so anything past 100 yards once again IMO...

Was 500 yards in my mind back when I started, it's 400 now cause practice is harder and my skills haven't improved with age....
