Yer it is a lot of fun.They are foxes,with the 17hmr I just walk around with a headlamp on low light then scan every 50m with the bright wolf eyes.Foxes in Victoria Australia have a $10 bounty & wild dogs have a $100 bounty!.We have a big problem with foxes,feral cats,rabbits & wild dogs.

This 17 hmr set up has a bushnell 6-24 power scope with a wolf eyes sealion hunter 1000 lumin torch,Awsome for hunting pests with.With 17 hmr & 204 i really have varmits & feral pests covered in open farmland both really hammer!

My new 204 howa varmit first fox was 205yards,second 288 yards,ammo factory 32gr vmax,very impressed its a flat shooting hammer out to 300 yards!

Cool thanks for that.I had a look at the tikka varmit the bolt was awsome,then he showed me another model in savage and the action seemed rough compared to the tikka.Would a tikka varmit do the same job as the lrh to 1000 yrds?? finding it hard to choose...

The savage lrh has a 26 inch barrel with muzzel brake.The Tikka has a 23 3/4 inch Barrel,in 300 wsm what would be the difference.From 100 yrds to a 1000 yrds??Is one better then the other??
