Took a BIG female last weekend that really liked the PUP SCREAM mixed up with BABY COTTONTAIL. Took her at 35yds with 2.75" #4 buck...Nice load picked up at cabela's for like $8 for a box of 25. I never took a pick but did manage to take weigh the carcass after I "skun" her..Came in at 31lbs...
First real shotgun I would make sure to get your $$ worth and get a Remington 870 or 887 magnum. Don't worry about the bottom of the pile "express" models at Walmart...Go to a local shop, tell them it's your first shotgun...Pick out a middle of the road model (maybe 26" barrel) and know you'll...
Yes that's the one....Good to hear it's a good product for the $$$ they ask for it. I see Fred has a Utube video on how to set it up and get the wrinkles out of it etc.....Very handy to release that BEFORE they start being returned for having a wrinkle in them..Haha
I've been out 3 or 4 times with mine and it's worked great.....I actually bought new Energizer rechargables to avoid any chance the included batteries were junk. Never had the unit go below full charge....Have had the remote go down one bar. I am convinced it's the best call out there right...
You definitely want something! Aluminums generally support much more weight as they have no lacing. The plus of these is they are light, manuverable and a small shoe will carry a much bigger person. As for the noise I can't speak to that as I am a traditional wood guy. I use a set of...
Just got back from making a couple quick sets and so far quite impressed with the unit. 1st set was 50yds from the unit with open line of site....Obviously no issues, volume seemed very sufficient. 2nd set up was 70yds from the caller kind of over a knoll...Only had one incident of the unit...
Great thread. I'm suprised not to hear more about calling them. Every article I remember reading growing up was about "CALLING EM IN." I chuckled the other day when I noticed my electronic predator caller actually had several squirrel in distress sounds on it and was wondering the...
Alright...I'll start out the season's threads about decoys....Looks like the price tag on these beauties will be about $75....Anyone held one or seen it up close? I'm about to swear off Zink all together for the # of emails and promo's I'm getting on Facebook but overall I like the...
Let it sit in the truck tonight and get good and cold as it's only about 5 degrees then set it up in the parking lot @ work....The text on the LCD screen was a bit broken up and it didn't want to scroll too well but it worked fine and I was able to get 150yds out of the remote through several...
Hand call will always be around my neck when I'm hunting...I'll run the e caller at low volume, crank it up later and then finish with a hand call in every direction real loud.
Got it fully charged...(Didn't bother with the batteries that came with it..got Energizer rechargables on your recomendation)...Found the call solidly built...Functions easy to use and the remote easy to use as well. Haven't checked out the full sound library but the bird distress and rabbit...
