I doubt very seriously that your cartridges in the sun at 50° would change 70fps? Maybe in 100°? Carbon rings sneak up pretty fast...

The 28 N has slightly more case capacity than the 30. The 30-28 is a match made in heaven for the 230 Berger. Just enough more...

Well, got some quick testing done today no thanks to the weather but believe the problem is fairly well solved. .142” group at 50yds...

I can't tell you the exact length off hand but it worked out basically perfect to mag feed 245 Bergers from a CIP mag.
