I have been searching for info about what powder to try in my 25" 9 twist Bartlein 7 Rem mag with 143 Hammers but can't find a thread with that info.
What are you guys using, and what are your results?

Have you looked on the hammer bullets reloading page on here? Lots of info on there with many calibers and powders. It's also listed on hammer bullet forum. It should give you an idea of where to start.

RE22 works well for me in 7WSM. It is less temp stable than 23, which would be my choice.
26 is on my list to try.

I had good results with RamShot mag with 140 Barnes TTSX, would the Hammers be similar?

I do have RE26, H1000, Retumbo and a few others, should I be looking for some others?

My 7WSM has similar case capacity and shoots at the same velocity as a 7mm mag. Both RE23 and RE26 shoot very well with the 143 Hammer Hunter bullet.
Starting pt in Re26 wt?

I run H1000 in the 7Rm with the 143 HH for the heat temp stability as I'm out west but I'm sure you could get more speed with some of the others. I will post the load and speed when I get home tonight.

I only loaded 175grPartitions or 175grRemCoreLok. Best powder for me is IMR4831 or IMR4350. 7828 would never work for me.
One of my 7mmRemMags

I'm running 70.0 RE26 in a Win case with Fed215M and get 3,285 ft/sec with very good accuracy.
I'd start with a 7%-10% reduction in charge weight and work up. Your case capacity could vary enough to warrant some caution.

I also run H-1000 with the 143, maybe could get faster mv with a faster burning powder but the accuracy and consistency is very good. Very low es and sd in my rifle. I get 3220ish mv in a 26 inch barrel. cheers, Jason

Every rifle I have run RL26 in spiked pressure above ~85F but it did give great velocities.

I am in Arizona, so heat stability is a big issue here also.
What powders are more heat stable? It only gets to mid 90's so not a big problem here. For load development I take test rounds to the range in a little cooler with a cold pack and rotate two or three rifles. .

Varget, H1000, H4350, and H4831(extreme series pow
are among the top for heat. The issue is the the rise in FPS per degree is not linear, meaning some powders, like Reloder 26 (in MY EXPERIENCE yours may vary,) are very stable from say 20F to 85F but above that they increase very rapidly. If you are within the stable range of temperature you will be fine. Some of the VV powders such as N570, N560 have shown to be very heat tolerant.
