Got the ZC 420 coming on a new rifle but have never actually shot behind one. Anyone have any experience with this glass?

It isn't lacking in really anything. You will be very impressed.
I have the 4-20 on a lone peak fusion with carbon fiber proof barrel in 300 Norma improved for a hunting rifle. Also,have the 5-27 on another rifle. Have owned every high end scope except tangent theta and ZCO is by far the best in every category.

I have two. Awesome scopes. Like Tangent Theta awesome. Like slightly better than S&B awesome.

Do you all think a ZCO 420 is over kill for a hunting scope? I'm thinking about buying one. What rings did y'all use? Zeiss has a 36 mm set.

The only drawback to a ZCO for hunting is the weight if that matters to you. I use ZCO rings on mine.
Nope…. Not Overkill. Excellent Optic for my mid weight long range rifle. I went with the ZCO rings.

What retailer did y'all purchase from? I don't think Euro Optic carries ZCO.

Call CS Tactical, they stock ZCO and they'll likely give a discount if you buy a scope and rings.
