Anyone have any info on this unit? My wife drew a cow tag here this year. I thought this would be a good unit for her as she has never shot an elk and the success rate last year was over 70%. I called the local Big Game Biologist and the Game Warden and they both recommended the Rochelle Hills area and north. Well, so far we've put in three hard days and walked a lot of good looking country, and not even seen any real fresh sign. We've seen several deer but not a single elk. Seems kind of unusual to me that last year's success was that high and so far we haven't seen a thing. Any help here would really be appreciated.
