Anybody hunt Cooper State Park? I'm new to WV hunting. Confused on the hunting dates. Is archery open now or not until Oct 22-25???

No, at the present time State Parks do not permit hunting. Hope to see it changed soon.

To my knowledge coopers rock follows the dnr archery season without any restrictions so sept 26 was the opener and it will close dec 31. I know guys who hunt it regularly.

Yes, I hate trying to read the DNR rules book online but I have since confirmed the park is open just with a one doe and one buck over 14 inch spread.
