I am sure most people will say find the roost tree and get them when they come down. Which sounds great but what are you guys doing when you aren't able to get under or right by the roost tree? Late morning hunts?
Anyone running decoys or are able to successfully call them in?
I have one situation right now where the turkeys are hanging out in an orchard about 300 yards into private property, I am trying to figure out how to draw or scare them out. There is about 300-500 turkeys in there?
Do you ever find the turkeys run off from the flock during the fall, if so what time of day or you seeing this?
