What is your best deer rifle

I shoot a rem 700 in 243. First and favorite rifle. I bought a LAW professional in 300wm to be my do everything rifle. That didn't go so well and is now in process of being shipped back with the a new barrel. Hoping things go better second time around. I will be sending a rem 700 action I have laying around to be rebarreled in 260 rem and put into a manners or mcmillan hunting stock.

I've been deer hunting for perhaps 45 years and have owned many deer rifles. My all time favorite is a gun I no longer own which was an Interarms Whitworth Express African in 375 H&H.gun)

Broken Arrow,
I still have mine, bought over 30 years ago. It has been to Africa a few times, and accounted for game from Impala to Cape buffalo. It's a great rifle!
Picture: Kudu shot at 300 yards DRT with a 270gr Winchester PP/scope 4x Leupold w/detachable (German) mounts. 1987.

It's good to hear others with the same satisfaction from the same gun. When the 375 cracks something is going to die!

Tikka T3 lite, 270 win, Sierra 130 SBT, 2925 fps, 2x7-32 leupold vx1. Not a speed demon, 1/2" groups at 200yds. No complaints. Longest shot to date 385 yds, it was a bang Flop spine shot.

Have had many down through the years. Memorable ones (good times, companions there, etc.) = Model 94 Winchester Classic carbine, Mod 77 Ruger .280, Mod 700 7mm Mag, Mod 700 300WM Classic, Mod 700 25-06 (later converted to .257 BEE) Classic, Mod 70 Winchester rebarreled 30-06 FWT, Mod 700 rebarreled 6.5/284 Classic, Mod 700 Classic .257 Roberts Ackley Improved, Belgium made early BAR .270... Several others but you get my drift. For me, life is just way too short to settle for one. :)

TC encore with a custom .264wm 26 inch heavy barrel, and a little remington model 7 in .260 rem. Both are proven killers for me

Haha, yep, variety is the spice of life. I've used a few different calibers too but always seem to come back to my Browning A Bolt 30/06.

1960 remington 760 carbine in 280 rem. Sierra 160 gameking (if theres bear around) or 139 sst all handloaded to medium velocities listed. Fantastic on hogs too
