what is a 6mm sabre

My boy bought a Remington 700 that was supposed to be a 6mm-284. when I pulled it ut of the stock it says 6mm sabre barreled by Shilen. does anybody have any info on that round?

I thought I'd seen it in PO Ackley's books, but did not find it there. I did find a vague reference to it online, and it seems to be a .264 magnum necked to 6mm. It sounded like Shilen chambered that rifle. RCBS has dies, and JG has a reamer, couldn't find a drawing.
