So, I didn't read through every single post and maybe someone else uses a process similar to this... So I use the Wheeler Professional Reticle Leveling System, SiteLite SL-100 Laser Boresighter, gun vise, level or plumb bob, and most importantly, the Brownell's scope horse! Process: Place the rifle in the gun vise and snug the scope down initially. Using the Brownell's Scope Horse, level the firearm to the "scope and bore" vertical axis and lock into gun vise. Once that is done, I place the Wheeler barrel level on the barrel and make sure it is level to the Scope Horse, that way I can still check true level and make sure nothing moves, when the scope horse is removed. Then the SL-100 boresighter is placed in muzzle with the included reticle leveling accessory installed, and leveled to a plumb bob line or level on the wall (with the firearm in the gun vise and still leveled to the Brownell's Scope Horse and Wheeler barrel level). The scope rings are loosened up, the reticle/scope is rotated to match up to the boresighter laser line, and rings are re-torqued. Presto, done!
