Had mine since last january and it has done what i have asked and what is expected of a 300 dollar spotting scope. I like that it is light can pack it around. speaking of the redfield we had that and the nomad side by side the other day and i plus others put the vortex ahead by quite a margin but optics can be so subjective from person to person
