I bought my sister a ruger American .243 since her ex-husband took her gun with him. What would be some good loads to get her started with for antelope and deer. She is a good shot. Her first antelope was shot at 652 yards with my dad's 98 mauser in.243!

If you plan to shoot that far, I would go straight to the Sierra 100grn SGK. It is a lead tip boat tail that seems to work good in 1:10 twist tubes. Not sure what the twist rate is in your rifle. My next choice would be the 95grn SST, Berger, or NBT. You'll just have to see what it likes.
