I'll bite. In my limited experience, I've seen good and bad from the old and new. Good being threads and face parallel, and perpendicular to bolt journals or raceways. Bad being not. Almost everyone that I can remember messing with only had one locking lug making contact in locking lug recess. Only exceptions that come to mind were actions that were very old and likely had several hundred or more rounds through them. Most I've measured the actual locking lugs on bolt were within .001", and bolt faces have been within .001"-.002" except a 7RUM stainless action i blueprinted and rebarreled. That bolt face was about .0045" out. Another SS in .223 was egg shaped, probably from whoever pulled the original barrel and attempted to true action. Epoxy in raceways, and barrel just over hand tight. If trued up and not egg shaped too bad, these actions make good shooting rifles. YMMV
