This is a catch and release, although I've been torn about releasing it due to a few nice upgrades. This is a June, 2004 produced Remington 700 BDL limited run stainless steel rifle produced to commemorate RMEF's 20th anniversary. It has fewer markings than most RMEF limited runs. The silver floorplate carries the 20th anniversary logo. Caliber is .300 win mag. The stock is the good version of the Remington synthetic stock produced prior to the SPS junk stocks. Remington had these stocks hydro-dipped in Realtree Hardwoods camo for the RMEF version.

Some specs include:
• LOP is 13-1/2"
• 24" barrel, .610" muzzle diameter, twist is standard Rem for this caliber.
• Total weight is 7 lbs 6.6 oz.
• The stock weighs 35.3 ounces

The upgrades:
• The original Walker-style trigger has been professionally tuned, and is the best gunsmith tuning job I've ever seen. No creep. Three consecutive pull weight measurements were 2 lbs 5.6 oz, 2 lbs 5.0 oz and 2 lb 5.8 oz. I've never seen a built Remington trigger with that kind of pull consistency.
• The OEM stock has had some improvements. A pillar was installed in the front action screw hole, and the recoil lug has been bedded. The result is a free-floated barrel all the way to the recoil lug.

It was reported to me by the seller that the rifle has approx. 10 rounds fired since new. The cosmetics would match that statement. There is one scratch in the camo on the left side near the receiver, and that's it. The Remington-logo'd Limbsaver pad is in excellent condition. The barrel has a few thin silver marks caused by rubbing. Very small. And there is a scratch on the bolt shroud. The silver BDL bottom metal has no scratches. The overall impression is near-new condition. Sold with no Remington box. Yes, it has a J-lock. If you have $84, a shoelace, a dime and a door knob, you can replace the bolt shroud and firing pin assembly with a much-improved unit from Gre-Tan rifles. I've priced the rifle accordingly for this future replacement. A J-lock tool is included with the sale.

I have not fired the rifle. Based on the improved trigger and stock, the accuracy should be better than a standard Rem 700 Synthetic of this generation.

$895 shipped from an individual to your FFL with proper ID enclosed. $25 additional if your FFL requires shipment from a dealer. I will consider trades. Ultralight rifles and illuminated reticle scopes are always considered. I can add cash to the right deal. Drop me a PM if you have questions or need additional photos. Thanks for looking.
