I have a Kimber short action .243. Light sporter barrel. Shoots well but will heat up pretty fast. I'm thinking about rebarreling it in a heavier maybe fluted sporter barrel with a faster twist for the 105 grainers. Opinions out there. Is the action suitable for the job. Kimber states their action is first class match type quality.
