I know an outfitter here in Northern NM looking for two elk hunters on October 12th
for a great 5 day hunt. The guy who had the 2 slots had to drop out after 18 years-- his company sold and made cut backs (go figure). The hunt starts on top of the
mountain ridges, (no early morning climbing--not real physically demanding)
Lots of elk. The country boarders Vermejo Park Ranch to South and West.
