Couple of buddies are trying to get me to put in with them for area 5B. One guy is originally from New Mexico but has never hunted there. Do any of you guys have any info on this area, i.e. quality of elk, size of herds. I'm from northwest Wyoming would this area be similar? Based on the drawings odds its a hard area to draw (10%) last year. So I'm not to worried about drawing, but you never know.
