Hi everyone, new member here, living in DC. Long-time long range shooter, finally getting into ELR and might just get into some long range hunting as well. Looking forward to chatting.

Man you must truly feel like the lone ranger living in DC with your shooting sports interests.

I was stationed at Andrew's AFB in the late 90s and loved it there for what it offers in good fishing, great mesuesms and sight seeing.

Been back a few times in the last few years for business and recreation. It's sure changed inside the beltway from a tourist aspect, making it an even better place to visit but it is spendy.

Do you have any places to shoot nearby?

Thanks guys, really appreciate the warm welcome! It's looking like a six hour drive down to somewhere like Moccasin Valley Precision in Virginia for the ELR shoots, which isn't too bad. Mind you, I used to live in the UK, so I'm still getting used to the distances over here...
