Just found out I got mule deer with a bow and cow elk with a rifle. The elk is what I am happy about. It's sept 24-oct 4 in the 231 area near eagle pass I believe is the name.
Anyone have info on that area they care to share?? Gonna bring my 8 year old for his first overnight hunt with dad.
