I have tried several different chassis and couldn't get comfortable around them. I thought this one would be different because it is more like a traditional, yet adjustable stock. I can get more comfortable behind it than any other chassis I have tried but still feel better behind a traditional stock. Southern precision opened up the bolt notch slightly for the surgeon action I have in it and milled for the bolt release. It isn't even noticable on the bolt area and I doubt you could tell a difference for the bolt release with a different action bolted in. It's for a short action 700 footprint action and I will include 2 5 round aics pattern magazines. Redhawk is selling these chassis systems for $899. I will do $800 shipped and include the mags with it. Other than the milling the stock looks brand new.
