Long Range Gopher Scope

I sold my Edge in favor of a 243 Ackley build. Dusting off my old Model 670 Win in 243 made we want a long range gopher killer after I managed to score some 300+ yard hits.

I kept the Mark 4 8.5-25 off my Edge but would there be a better option for scoring some 6,7 maybe 800 yard hits?

I think the proper name for what we call gophers is Richardton's Ground Squirrels. They're small.
