It depends how far you plan on shooting. High MV is a greater advantage at closer range. As you get further and further out high BC becomes a larger advantage. It's always a compromise. If you spend some time playing arround with MV and BC vallues in a ballistic calculator, you can quickly figure out what's best for you.
 
Since this is Long Range Hunting, is this a trick question and if we get it wrong we have to write "Wildcat" on the blackboard 100 times???:rolleyes:

being a "kirbyite" or whatever i would want high velocity with a high BC bullet!

that being said i would have to go with a high BC bullet at a normal speed. It just flat out makes the target easier to hit and at long range you hit the target harder.
