This barrel was used one year, it is chambered for the 300 Weatherby Improved. Thread is for Bat action. It is 1.5 inches straight cylinder and was epoxied into a barrel block. It can be recontoured by hart for $25 and also rechambered to any .30 caliber and rethreaded for any action. It would make a nice barrel for a Remington action if it was turned down to 1.25 and re-threaded and rechambered to the 300 Ultra. It is 30 inches total, 28 barrel with 2 inches of thread. I got it from a gunsmith who told me it was shooting 10 to 12 inch, 10 shot groups last season. This would make someone a good long range hunting barrel at a very resonable price.
