First thermo hunt

Looking at a used Thermion XQ 38 and a Trijicon ML11 ir hunter 35mm. Would be using them for coyotes in Wisconsin. We don't have a lot of distance where we could hunt 3-4 hundred yards would be a long shot. Probably closer to 1-200 yards. And would only get to go once in a while. Any reason not to get them? Problems with used or because of cold weather? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There can be relevant limitations on environmental conditions for thermal operation, and in your case it would be low temperatures. Check specs before you buy.

Using a thermal really can be addictive, and especially when you realize that basically nothing can hide from you. You can even use one to your advantage in daylight for some purposes.

Killin Texas hogs at night is a great pastime, ain't it? :)
