Could milling rings from 34 to 35 “Hawkins hybrids” show strength/integrity problems on larger calibers?

I wish guys would standardize .860 round Bridge and the same Mount to mount Gap. I don't know how we standardized around the same trigger hanger and footprint but somehow can't seem to make scope mounts that work across multiple platforms. Does it matter if it's Tally's , dnz, near, or hawkins the direct mounts arr so much cleaner of an installation.

Back in the day DNZ used to charge a whole bunch to make custom mounts but it was an option, near did as well. I wonder what it would cost to have one made these days...

Let makers stay unique and play, the market has already just about committed to a handful of designs and dimensions, often not because they are superior but because they're the cheapest way to do it.
