Hey, so spent some shooting time this weekend with my new Traverse 300WM, last fall I did the barrel break in etc, then put it away for the winter. Anyhow, went out to the range and setup for 100yrd, verify zero and such, and last fall, my last 3 shot group, was all touching, sub moa. So this time, it was 1.5 moa, for 3 shot group. Went to 200 yards, and it was about 8-10" all over the target, no consistency. Went to 300 yards, and it settled down a bit, but strung it left to right 8" also. I checked my action screws, my base, rings etc, all tight. I am running a Nightforce ATACR, Shooting Nosler Trophy Grade 180gr, and Federal Premium GMM Sierra HPBT 190s. Came home, took the action out of the stock, and can see daylight around the front pillar, between pillar and stock. Also the bedding at the recoil lug area is not hardly there, and a definite Ridge in front of the recoil lug. Does not seem good/right to me? Called CA, they are having me ship the gun back, which is fine, but I am just wondering if that's causing all my issues, or if I have more than 1 problem? I was using a Caldwell Lead Sled also, to try and keep me out of the equation. Pics attached, any thoughts?
