I have been using a Foodsaver brand vac sealer for 20 or so years. It works great for what it does butI Im tired of having to pre freeze moist foods, and the option of sealing liquids is very appealing. I am going to make the switch to a chamber style and would appreciate any snd all advice in selecting a non professional Harry Homeowner type model .

The make model is in that picture. It's one of the most popular best reviewed. I use it almost daily and a ton in the spring/summer putting up vegetables in the garden.

It is heavy but I put it where I wanted it the first time. The pump in it is what carries the weight, lets you know it's up for heavy use. I've run about 8000 cycles with it and added a little oil once. I'm sure I need to change it.
