[QUOTE="overbore, post: 1209026, member: 2981"] Well, men, in order to make an accurate comment on this new technology scope, one must have one sooo, yes I did. A Pennsylvania seller adverting on "u-buy" was retailing a new in the box unit at $1,349 so I pulled the lanyard and now have one to learn. Quick observations: the scope base has an integral Picatinny base mounting which mated exactly to my rifle's base; A fast, strong and reliable system; a great plus/. Next, the system uses 123A batteries of which one is included. A fast review of the manual's data for Berger G1 is not there but a fast look at the Berger products page is easy to do to get a book value of .566for my 190 gr bullets. Since I do not have fast access to a 750 yard range to do a confirming drop test, I do have a Pejsa ballistics program on my pc so I can get quite close before going to the long range target. I will comment as I climb the learning curve but I do have a very positive opinion as even a sun shade is included plus scope covers and a lens cleaning cloth. Looks like a great product!
