A few Elk photos from last September

I thought I'd share a few photos from central Colorado. I didn't draw a tag this fall so I grabbed my Canon and made a trip to Denver to visit my son and DIL. We spent a few days near Idaho Springs hiking with our cameras and here are a few of the better shots we got. Later folks

I wish to express my utmost displeasure with your remorseless tormenting those of us that failed to harvest (OK "KILL") an elk this past season!

I didn't see any of them hunting this year, I must have given them the wrong address, they were to far east of me. Nice pictures

Yea my son has a buddy that lives near Evergreen and he gave us a few tips on trails and locations to help us locate these bulls.

I think the locals are pretty protective of those elk in that area, like Estes Park
