Haven’t been able to find much out there about this round in the 6mm Creedmoor for hunting. I was able to get a nice buck this morning with this projectile loaded over some H4350 and had great results. Deer was a DRT at 160 yards, not long range by any means but I wanted to post results. This was a frontal shot that penetrated straight through the heart and one lung turning them into soup. Projectile was recovered right under the hide at the diaphragm which measured 23” into the animal. Perfect pedaling of the projectile, devastating to the animal and an overall great experience. Deer is 212lbs dressed and rack is destroyed from fighting but I hunt for meat so this was an easy choice lol. I would have no issues with an 80 grain Barnes at distance and a broadside shot on whitetails or Muleys with the penetration I had!! Anyone else using Barnes in a 6mm platform??
